K9s for Law supports Law Enforcement Agencies through the funding of K9 Grants
K9s for LAW is a charitable organization whose purpose is to grant K9 Officers throughout the United States to law enforcement agencies that need assistance. This is accomplished through donations from caring and concerned citizens and businesses.
K9 Officers can complete numerous duties faster and with more reliability than their two legged partner. Their efficiency puts a K9 Officer in very high demand.
Unfortunately, the upfront costs of adding a trained and certified K9 to the unit is cost-prohibitive for many departments. .
Every K9 for LAW Inc. Grant Includes:
Health and Performance Guarantee
Handler training (6-8 week course)
Lodging for handler during training
Equipment needed for training
Classroom materials and training manual
One year Support Training
The return on investment is significant. After a single grant, the K9 Officer will continue to serve its community for the remainder of its career, up to 8 years.
K9s for LAW's mission is to promote the safety of families, schools and businesses by placing more K9 Officers in communities to serve and protect.
