The average cost of a trained and certified K9 Officer ranges from $10,000 to in excess of $20,000. Many law enforcement agencies and schools want and need to add one or more K9 Officers to protect and serve, but cannot afford a trained and certified K9 Officer due to budgetary constraints.

Through corporate and individual donations, K9s for LAW, Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is able to grant trained and certified K9 Officers. The return on investment is significant. A single donation, will provide a K9 Officer that will continue to serve its community for the remainder of its career, up to 8 years.

How to Help:

You and your friends (or just your family or your company) can donate a trained and certified K9 Officer for a law enforcement agency or school.  The granted K9 Officer will also be equipped with all the necessary equipment to do its job.

Acknowledgments associated with this generous donation include:

  • We gather vital data (number of K9 calls, tracking, apprehension assistance, illegal contraband discovery, evidence recovery, training hours, etc) on our donated  K9 Officers.  The triumphs of the K9 Team are available to the sponsor.

  • All photographs, success stories and cumulative statistics can be used in marketing, advertising, social media or your holiday letter.  You can share with your friends and clients on how YOU have helped a community and provided extra security for the Officer.  The benefits of your single donation will parallel your K9 Officers working career.

  • Donation is tax-deductible
