With K9s for LAW, You Can make a difference

K9s for LAW, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, provides grants for trained and certified K9 Officers.  These grants are made available through the generous donations of caring citizens and corporations.

Our mission is to help protect our communities ... one K9 Officer at a time. The men and woman that protect us are asking for our help. They are requesting a partner, a dog.

It is an indisputable fact that K9 Officers perform many tasks faster and more reliably than a human.  Those tasks include:

·         explosive detection,
·         suspect apprehension and escort,
·         missing person recovery,
·         narcotic detection,
·         article search and evidence gathering,
Another indisputable fact, though unfortunate, is due to a deficiency of funding, many law enforcement agencies and schools cannot afford a trained K9 Officer.  The average cost of a certified K9 Officer ranges from $10,000 to $20,000.
This upfront cost often prevents law enforcement agencies and schools from adding one or more certified K9 Officers to serve and protect, even though the return on investment of K9 units is significant.
There is no price for a life that is saved.
